Official Slow-pitch Softball League of The Northshore Area

The NGSSA is a local and recreational slow-pitch softball league dedicated to a for-fun learning experience for girls in the Northshore area. Team sports are an important part of confidence building for every girl.

NGSSA was founded in the Northshore area near Seattle in 1971 by a group of volunteers with the vision to provide the opportunity for girls of all ages in our community to play and enjoy softball. NGSSA is still staffed by volunteers who enjoy working to continue this tradition. For 48 years, thousands of girls have participated in the NGSSA.

We do accept a limited number of Pre-K players if they will be entering kindergarten in the following school year. Reach out to us at info@ngssa.org for more information.

Returning To Play

After a healthy and prosperous 2023 season, we are excited to plan 2024 with health and safety again first on our list of priorities for the season.  The State of Washington and King County now offer guidance but no specific restrictions on outdoor youth sports.  NGSSA will be adhering to all state and local health and safety recommendations and our league-wide COVID policies and procedures.
