Happy Holidays! Join Us At Bothell’s Tree Lighting Festival!
Greeting NGSSA Families,
We are in full planning mode as we gear up for another great year of NGSSA softball. We will be having a booth at Bothell’s Tree Lighting Festival, which is being held on Saturday, December 2nd. This is a fun family event. A holiday market will be running from 2-7 pm behind First and Main Design Center, and non-profits and businesses will be on Main Street giving away all sorts of fun stuff, and providing crafts for kids of all ages. And, of course, the Big Guy in Red will surely make an appearance.
We could use some help at our booth!
We will be giving away popcorn to the masses and providing information about the league. Any help from parents or players would be greatly appreciated, even for just a little bit. Those needing volunteer hours can also receive credit. I have created a sign-up genius to fill slots. Please have a look.

We are cleaning out our Storage Locker
On December 9th, we will significantly clean our storage locker. We could use a few more bodies to help sort and identify what needs to be replaced. If you have gear that you no longer need or need equipment for your player, please feel free to stop by. We have many gloves with a lot of life left in them that could use a good home. We will have pizza! If you are planning on coming, please RSVP so we can plan for enough food.
Join Our Board!
Also, we need a few more board members. We have some members who will be aging out after this year, and we could use new members to take up the reins. Duties would be light as you learn the ropes. If anyone is well-versed in social media and online marketing, we could help in this area.
Registration is Open!
Lastly, registration is now open. Please register early so we can begin forming teams and identifying coaches. The best way to ensure your child gets on the team you want is to get those registrations in as soon as possible. You have until December 31st to register at 2023 regular prices. On January 1st, 2024, rates will go up. Unfortunately, this is necessary due to increased field rental costs and insurance. As always, scholarships are available to those in need.
